Morzine has 2 fantastic outdoor swimming pools, one which is olympic size. It’s a great place to spend a hot day lazing on the sun loungers or having a picnic on the surrounding grassy area. Children and adult swimming lessons are available from beginners to advanced and there is a variety of free entertainment including games to water tournaments.

Morzine boasts a total of 9 tennis courts including 2 clay courts, and if you want to warm up and practice before your game there are two training walls you can use to perfect your volley. Courts can be booked between 8am and 8pm and the club house also offer private tennis lessons for both adults and children.

Morzine’s equestrian centre is set in a leafy woodland by the river. They offer wonderful mountain excursions as well as a number of riding lessons. For the really small children, there is a petting farm attached to the centre, making sure they don’t miss out! Pony trekking is also available by the Lake in Montriond.
Every Wednesday morning a charming traditional market assembles in Morzine for locals to sell their produce. Wandering through the stalls is a fantastic way to take in the atmosphere and bustle of a typical Savoyard market, and if you want to take a souvenir home there are plenty of things to tempt you: cheeses, cured meats and local handicrafts being typical favourites.
