Summer has arrived!

The birds are singing, the sun is shining, and the cows are wearing noisy bells that are far too big for their necks…. summer has arrived. The best thing about the summer is that there is so many great things to do. You can be mountain biking through meadows in the morning, lazing by the swimming pool in the afternoon, and having a lakeside BBQ in the evening watching the sun go down.

The first big event is the Passportes du Soleil on Friday 24th June, a fantastic day event that sees the lifts open for the summer. The tour that takes you through 9 resorts, covering over 80km and with over 7000m of possible downhill! It is open to serious competitors, friends wanting a fun day out and even open to the little ones with a specially designed ‘Kids Trek’.

Other great upcoming events to look out for are the Harley Days festival including a free Status Quo concert, the Mont Blanc rally, and the Fete du Lac which was a firework extravaganza last year.
